As a Marine Corps veteran and long-time construction professional, western North Dakota has given me the opportunity to grow and provide for my family as a chemical engineer.
My name is Michael A. Steele, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for North Dakota House District 23 representative.
I have worked in construction many years, and I am incredibly proud to have arrived at this stage of my life in western North Dakota. Like many others, I have worked hard to achieve a sense of security and confidence in my ability to provide for my wife, my children, and my extended family members.

In western North Dakota, we are proud to offer an abundance of resources to families and individuals, including an educational system that is not only growing in terms of population, but also in opportunity. Western North Dakota offers some of the best outdoor recreational opportunities, as well as incredible hunting and fishing options. Additionally, western North Dakota features natural resources that fuel America.
Yet, in spite of all this abundance, Williston has some unique needs that are not currently being met by our North Dakota Legislature. I would like to be part of the solution that benefits those in our community.
