Meeting the Candidate

Every Saturday at 9:00 am through May 1st, I will be at The Daily Addiction Coffee House to meet with community members and hold engaging conversations. I hope to see you there!

I had a wonderful time with a great cup of coffee, getting to speak with our community members and hearing more about their concerns for our local issues.

Great discussion was had as we explored local issues:

Valuable educational programs in Williston, such as Williston Basin Career & Technical Education Center
Inability to recruit and retain teachers due to rising cost of living
Oil and gas extraction industry in Williston being one of the largest contributors for North Dakota's GDP and yet, our schools receive equal, not equitable, funding per student while having a higher transient population
Barriers to quality healthcare options as our community members have to seek adequate care elsewhere, sometimes even out of state
Medicare and Medicaid having limited access for our most needed community members
